About Junior Achievement of Guelph and Wellington

We bring HANDS ON Business Education to Youth in Grades 7 -12 with Volunteer Advisors from the local business community.

We currently offer 3 programs in Fergus and Wellington County;

Company Program for high school students. Provides hands on opportunity to develop and run a company HANDS ON from concept through manufacturing to closure.
Economics of Staying In School (ESIS) - for Grade 7 and 8 students who participate in an all day program of exploring goals and options and find it really does pay to stay in school.
Student Venture as part of the Entrepreneurial Studies Class at Centre Wellington District High School students experience Hands On what it is like to run a company.

For a two-way learning experience, we provide training for volunteers who find out the inner workings of a business and new presentation and interpersonal skills as they work with students in the programs and students find out HANDS ON what it is like to run a company.

A Registered Charity, we are funded exclusively by corporate donations through our annual fundraising campaign.
