Silver Jubilee Elora Festival
The Elora Festival has been a wonderful artistic happening in Southern Ontario, Canada for over 25 years now. The year 2004 marked the Silver Jubilee of this intimate event. With performances of world-renowned artists in intimate spaces such as village churches, or impressive natural surroundings such as the Elora Gorge Conservation Area.
The Festival offers breathtaking performances of classical, jazz and contemporary music.

The Elora Festival Singers
The Elora Festival Singers are considered one of the world’s finest professional chamber choirs, according to British reviewer David Vernier. The Singers, founded by Noel Edison in 1980, form the principal vocal ensemble for the Elora Festival.
The Singers second CD, The Mystery of Christmas, was nominated for a Juno Award and has sold more than 135,000 copies. An outstanding new recording featuring the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams is now available.
The Singers make up the professional core of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and the newly established Mendelssohn Singers. More information on the Elora Festival Singers can be found on their website: www.elorafestivalsingers.org (link did not work anymore last time we checked).
Annual Elora Festival Book Sale
Each first weekend of May the Annual Elora Festival Book Sale attracts book lovers from all over Ontario, Canada, even the USA! This fundraising event at the Elora Curling Club cannot be missed. In addition to books, the sale will feature LP records, paper ephemera, games and puzzles. Donations of items will be accepted up to and during the sale. Mark your Calendar for next year's edition.
