Just like last year, at the beginning of the fergus175 celebratory year, we will have another First Night celebration downtown Fergus this year.
Some of the activities downtown Fergus on December 31st, 2008:
Live music by One Minute, The Unbreakable Clocks, Sebastian Ennis and The Mod Wolves, Backroads (8:30), Moonshine (11:15)
Countdown and Fireworks at 9:00 and 12:00

The Fergus Elora News Express of January 9, 2008 says that Fergus First Night celebrations was a hit. All the best for 2008 for you and your loved ones! Did you have a good New Year’s celebration? We spent some time downtown Fergus for the First Night. There were free trolley rides, picture opportunities with Shrek & Fiona, lots of music and a real Countdown (to 9 o’clock) for the children.
