Back in 2005 tornadoes ripped through Fergus, Ontario, Canada. I stumbled on this YouTube slideshow with great pictures. I was out of the country when it happened, but this looks scary and indeed able to cause the damage it did. Here is the write up about the tornado, from 2005.

Centre Wellington has a tradition in October. It started several years ago in Elora, when artist Tim Murton turned the downtown area of Elora into a Halloween extravaganza.
