Fergus is celebrating its 175th - come celebrate with us. Fergus fejrer sin 175th - kommer fejre med os. Next event is the Homecoming Weekend, from Friday, June 28 through Tuesday, July 1. Events include a luncheon with a special guest speaker, a Downtown street festival, Art Walk, “Doors Open”, a tour of heritage buildings, a concert in Victoria Park will feature local musicians and bands - and much, much more. A crisp night with a cloudless sky made for some pretty pictures. En sprød nat med en cloudless luftrum foretaget for nogle smukke billeder. The lunar eclipse, where the earth passes between the sun and the moon, can be seen by the naked eye. Den Måneformørkelse, hvor jorden passerer mellem solen og månen, kan ses af det blotte øje.

This February 20, 2008 lunar eclipse had excellent weather conditions, and apart from clouds moving in near the end of the eclipse, we could see all stages from our front door steps - and even from inside (much warmer! :o) Denne 20 februar 2008 Måneformørkelse var fremragende vejrforhold, og bortset fra skyerne bevæger sig i nærheden udgangen af Eclipse, vi kunne se alle faser fra vores frontlågen trin - og selv indefra (meget varmere!: O)

It is the second of February again: Groundhog Day. Det er den anden af februar igen: Groundhog Day. Wiarton Willie has failed to see his shadow, so according to this weather analyzing rodent we are getting an early Spring! Wiarton Willie har undladt at se hans skygge, så efter dette vejr analysere gnaver vi får et tidligt forår! :-O)

The Fergus Elora News Express of January 9, 2008 says that Fergus First Night celebrations was a hit. Den Fergus Elora Nyheder Express af 9. januar 2008 siger, at Fergus første nat festlighederne blev et hit. The front page article mentions that an estimated 2500 people participated in the events - with about 800 to 1000 people witnessing the official ringing in of 2008 at Midnight. We spent some time downtown Fergus for the First Night. Vi brugte nogen tid downtown Fergus for den første nat. There were free trolley rides, picture opportunities with Shrek & Fiona, lots of music and a real Countdown (to 9 o’clock) for the children. Der var fri Rullebord forlystelser, billede muligheder med Shrek og Fiona, masser af musik og en reel Countdown (til 9 klokken) for børn.
