This week a new publication landed in our mail box. The Wellington Advertiser, Centre Wellington’s largest circulation community newspaper, has launched a new business publication called Minding Our Business. The introductory issue of January 2008 introduces us to the Boards of local business advocacy organizations like the Fergus BIA, Elora BIA and Chamber of Commerce. There is a column from yours truly, Nardo Kuitert, about setting up your Google Adwords campaign…
…, the Achievement Centre’s Carly O’Brien about The Alternative To Gratitude, Centre Wellington’s Manager of Economic Development Dave Rushton about the local signage review and an article about the latest survey of Business Optimism by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business Gisele Lumsden.
Centre Wellington’s Chamber of Commerce
Having read the local Chamber’s newsletter I knew that I could go to the post office to have our homebased business added to the list for unaddressed business mail. If I had not known that, or not acted on it, I would never have received this new publication. As a homebased business we are not listed as a business with Canada Post, and do not receive unaddressed business-related mail.
You did not receive it either?
Then go to your post office, and ask to be added to the list for unaddressed business mail. Then you should receive the second edition of this new local business publication.
