Fergus, Centre Wellington
Centre Wellington is a Township within Wellington County. It is a strong growing and vibrant community, proud of its rich heritage, and blessed with incredible natural surroundings such as the Elora Gorge & Conservation Area, Belwood Lake and the Grand River. The Highland Games and Scottish Festival and the Fergus Truck Show, which each attract over 30.000 visitors, really put Fergus on the map. The Elora Racetrack & Slot Machines that opened in 2003 are within a 10 minute drive.
